When I moved to Spring in 1989, Greenspoint Mall was "the" place to be... all the folks from The Woodlands shopped there. It had a Mervyn's, which was my favorite store. The food court was decent and it was overall a very nice place. The downfall started with the opening of The Woodlands Mall. We switched to The Woodlands and never set foot again at what now was colloquially called Gunspoint.

Ah memories. I remember going as a kid and thinking it was so far away. I also worked there in 2009. I learned a lot. 😂
I wonder if Deerbrook will be used? There is so much extra parking space in certain areas.
Such a fun time back in the day. We used to drive over from Jefferson Cty to go here and the Galleria.

I came to Humble in 1980 and Greenspoint was a great mall. I knew it like the back of my hand. Of course, Deerbrook was new in 1984, and so much closer to home. Greenspoint was close to where I worked, so I still shopped there often, for years.
MrsT, back in the old days, before Beltway 8 was modernized, it took a lot more time to get there.

I remember when it just stopped and you had to get off at 59 then get back on, if I'm remembering correctly.
Everything felt so far when you're a kid. 😂
