Covid notices from school

Why do they all claim masks were worn so there are not exposures. My kid told me half the kids in his classes take the masks off routinely or wear them SJL style under the nose.

@BusyMommy : yep my kid there is no social distancing in the classrooms either bc there are too many kids and the classrooms are to small to keep everyone 6 ft apart.

I'm just tired of all this ****

@DaycareMom :

What's crazy is that the kids can catch the virus and take it home and give it to the parents. This is so crazy.

@TODD-3465 : Yep.. I could only imagine the effects. I work with many people and the public and my boyfriend works with juveniles in a facility. The domino effect would not be good

@DaycareMom :

I don't have any kids, so I would not be safe if I did.

Not worried. It will never fully disappear and I think the notices are overkill. It would be like the stores sending out a notice every time a customer was positive.

Work on proper hygiene, fresh fruits and veggies, exercise, stress management, etc and it would surprise you the things you could easily fight off.

And I do have 3 kids in public schools.

Thank goodness there's still the option to do on line classes.

It might help you to know though that the newest CDC notices are very positive regarding kids back in school. Doesn't mean you can't get it but it's like less than 1% of all teachers and students that are back at school are getting it from what I heard on the news this evening.

You can't be too careful. I'd get my kids back home if you're that worried.

Seven months in on the most deadly contagious pandemic eva and the traffic on WLH Parkway is as backed up as it's ever been. Not buying their hype. Sorry not sorry.

@Ladyfairlane : the CDC also says no trick or treating this year. How is being outside with limited exposure, both distance and time wise, more dangerous than sitting with 10 people within 6 feet of you for 45 minutes?
This is a big part of why people don't trust the CDC.

@southernmomma : what store do you go to where you sit next to a 13 year old for 45 minutes who removes his mask to sneeze?

@BusyMommy : My coworker removes her mask to sneeze. I'm like are you serious right now? She says well you don't expect me to sneeze in my mask do you? 🤦🏼‍♀️ And she's 22 not 13. 😂

@BusyMommy :

True.

I'd get my kid out immediately if you are at risk.
