Constables Arrest Suspect for this Third Driving While Intoxicated OffenseOn June 30, 2023, a deputy with Constable Mark Herman's Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 13700 block of Will Clayton Parkway. The driver was identified as Deonzia Freeman, who displayed multiple signs of intoxication. His five your old child was also in the vehicle.A series of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered and it was determined that he was driving while intoxicated.Child Protective Services was contacted and advised the facts of this case. The child was released to a guardian who arrived on scene. Further investigation revealed that he had two prior convictions for Driving While Intoxicated. "Deonzia Freeman was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated with Child Passenger.
