Car Crash Into Atascocita Nothing Bundt Cakes, Possible Fatality

In view of the fact that around 6 months ago this also happened at the Optical store( by Hallmark store) you would have thought that bollards would be installed by Landlord....Optical store still not reopened.

The handicapped parking spots were slightly offset from the direct front of the store. The truck went straight into window. The handicapped signs were not touched. They would have had to try to park in the no parking striped area directly in the center. Just seems odd.

@MrsHB : Yes, it's illegal. No security in sight, unfortunately. Luckily I enter on the drivers side, but if I would have needed in the passenger side, that wouldn't have been accessible for me. Since the guy stayed with his car, I suppose he thought it was okay. After I left, I wondered if he reparked and just took up the whole handicap space. It wouldn't have surprised me. Some people have no sense of decency.

@MrsHB : I'm wondering the same. Had they attempted to park appropriately, the handicap sign, curb, or even the concrete parking block, would've slowed the vehicle down somewhat. As it stands, there was nothing preventing the vehicle from going straight through the building.

911 was called a little after 3 and she was on her way there at 4:45! 🥺

@walkchalk1 : My oldest knows her. She was a former avid family member with my oldest when she attended Sconzo. This is sad my oldest communicating with other Sconzo alumnis and will wait for the funeral arrangements.

My son and I were looking to move our business and we were very interested in a glass front and never considered this could happen. We did think it could glass broken to steal. We decided to stay in our warehouse and might have been a good plan.
I have such sorrow for the family and this young girl.

Victim's mother... "This does not look like an accident to me," she said.See what I mean? So much easier when there is blame to be placed. I pray for this mama. I wouldn't even be able to speak.
