Cbear : It brings big tears to my eyes, when Dd says she missed our Chic Flick days. We would run errands, grab lunch at Jason's or Panera, head to my house with food and Blockbuster movies. It was nice to just kick back, watch the movies, talk if we wanted, total silence was ok, too.Occasionally, she will go Model Homing with me and her Daddy like back in the day.Cbear: Glad things went well for y'all. In this crazy world even kids need parental contact and love. If Heaven had visiting hours, this 65 yr. old would love to chitchat with my Momma!It really bothers me that suspicion has taken over our world. my daughter and i have always gone shopping or out for lunch but now since i hit my 70s and i have to use a walker i go with her for having my hair done and to get pedicures. sometimes my granddaughter will come with us , and if i feel up to it we go eat if they have time. by the way my granddaughter just made it to the select volleyball team xcel semi travel . i am so proud of her. her father is a fitness trainer so he has been giving her training and it paid off. she is 13.
