I think this is awesome he wants to go….where I go now I see so many elderly men getting pedicures but too far for you, so I am going to 2nd Tune Up by you. They may cater to him. I used to go to G&G there in Atascocita . I liked them too.

He goes to a place called Elite Nails. Looks like it's off of Atascocita Rd. I might've mixed up his veterinarian location.

Andi7:I have developed arthritis in my back and can no longer cut my toe nails. I go to Beaute Du Lac on 1960 near the Big A. They have at least two options. You can get your nails trimmed and filed for $5.00. Just walk in and say you want your toe nails cut. In and out in 15 .minutes. Or, you can get a full pedicure - washing, massage, lotion, trimming, cuticles, etc. Don't know what this service costs.I am very happy with them.

redneckroy lol nah i would totally do it, just haven't gotten the urge. i don't trust people with my toenails i can barely get it done without causing an in grown toe nail, and after going through the procedure a couple times I highly recommend not getting an ingrown toenail

I've only been once myself, went to G&G in Atascocita- family trip before we went to Costa Rica. It wasn't as rough as I thought, and they had some nice extras to offer. I'd go again, just haven't yet.

Andi7: I have gotten a pedicure several time at VIP Nails in Kingwood. Always been satisfied.

Andi7: At this age, it's extremely important things are done safely (medically speaking). Medicare should cover the cost of having a podiatrist cut his toe nails. One thing he definitely doesn't need is some type of infection. Losing function of a foot at his age would be very bad.Just my two cents.EDIT: I just checked and they may not cover unless there are other issues present. My parents always had theirs done at the podiatrist. I would still check.

I have forgotten about in home podiatrist. I used to have one come to the house for hubs and our insurance covered it. That's an idea Andi7☺️
Yes, he had diabetes so that was the issue covered.
