ATASCOCITA, Texas - The Atascocita Fire Department responded to two separate rollover crashes near each other Tuesday evening. Both incidents occurried near the intersection of FM 1960 East and Atascocita Road. The first crash happened near 18425 Timber Forest Drive, between FM 1960 East and Atascocita Road. The single-vehicle rollover resulted in one patient being transported from the scene. Shortly after, firefighters responded to a second rollover crash directly at FM 1960 East and Atascocita Road. This incident involved two vehicles and resulted in multiple patients being transported. The Harris County Constable's office shut down Southbound FM 1960 and eastbound Atascocita Road as emergency crews worked the scene. Atascocita Fire Department public information officer said the crashes were not related or connected, but noted the unusual nature of the incidents, saying he had never seen two crashes so similar occur so close together in both time and location.
