chasinghosts : There were issues with this at East End Park. Your car was going to be towed if it didn't have the K sticker.. turns out KSA owns the park, but the parking lot is City of Houston so can't tow. Being that my career was in park management, I believe parks should be open to everyone. Yes I know there are private parks, but community parks should be open, and with that visitors should be non consumption, meaning respecting the facility. I like that Pct. 2 will be working with TxDOT to build a pedestrian/ bicycle bridge over 1960 to connect trails. This is foreword thinking. Glad to see our community getting some outdoor amenities.
@Smokeybear : Yes, it's a good thing. I'm just really not that interested as we really don't got to parks that much, not worth our while. I just remember trying to go in and check out that park and being told I couldn't because I didn't have a sticker, even though I have 6 sets of family members living in Kingwood. So far I haven't seen a park here that would be that kind of a big deal. You should see the city parks in Chicago and Cincinnati, and they're all free, parking and everything.
