Atascocita Juvenile Arrested After Returning to Scene on ScooterA juvenile suspect was arrested May 13 after returning to the scene on a scooter following a foot pursuit near the 5900 block of Ancient Oaks Drive.According to Constable Mark Herman’s Office, deputies initiated a traffic stop on a black Nissan Altima for driving without headlights. While deputies attempted to make contact with the occupants, a third passenger exited the vehicle and fled on foot.The two remaining occupants were detained at the scene.Authorities said the suspect later returned to the area on a scooter and was taken into custody. Deputies identified the suspect as a juvenile with a prior criminal history who was currently on probation and wearing an active ankle monitor.The juvenile was arrested and booked into the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center on a charge of Evading Arrest.
