Atascocita High School Alum Brice Matthews Joins Houston Astros

BREAKING: Atascocita High School Class of 2020 graduate Brice Matthews, the Houston Astros No. 1 prospect, is being called up from Triple-A Sugar Land. He made his Triple-A Debut on September 10, 2024.

Matthews was taken with the No. 28 overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft.

Now he will join the Houston Astros as the Texas Rangers come to Houston for a three-game weekend series.
