Anyone else got a disconnect notice from MUD152? My waterbill is on autopay for a long time. the CC tied to the account is not expired but they stopped charging to it in July. I'm looking around the website to see if I can restart it and there is not option like before. There is a note on the last bill that they are changing their payment portal and that must be why they changed. Emoticon

Just a heads up for folks in a similar situation of you didn't already get your pink letter.

Heh.
So, the day before that email came about the portal, I had gone on to the old portal (which I had no idea was changing at that point!) and paid my bill.
When I got the email about the change the following day, I immediately went and set up access to the new portal. I noticed that whilst my bill was there, my payment was NOT.
I waited a few days for it to update, and then, when my payment never showed up I contacted them. It seemed like they thought I was being alarmist, but I have to wonder if I hadn't contacted them, if I'd be getting the pink disconnect letter as well!

I'm in 132 and got the same notice. I don't think they realize that just telling us a system is changing that we all had to change our auto pay all over again. It was nice threatening a letter that they were going to turn my water off but all is well now. All they had to do was say you have to do your auto pay over again.

cousindan : Yes, multiple MUDs are switching. I received mail and email for a few months.

cousindan :
I did too. They actually had a disconnect date on my water. They actually brought some kind of flyer and put it on my door.

Upon research what I found out they have an entire new billing system so if you paid your bill last month, it might've went on your account. It might not.

And I think starting this month, you have to go in and set up a new account to have it all taken care of.

lynnsgirl : Correct. They can't move payment details themselves.
