Is this they house where the girlfriend shot the homeowner?
Is the son the guy who used to hang out at the library and wanted gift cards from people here?

We went, and it was more than strange... The place was filthy. There was uneaten food from who knows when and dirty dishes in the sink... There was more stuff thrown on the floor than there was in the cabinets. (There was even blood spatter still on the kitchen floor... Not kidding!! Emoticon )

@ginx : stuff was just piled in corners in each room. We weren't willing to sift through it. Kitchen was an absolute mess but I did notice what looked like margaritas from the night before(?) in the blender. The guy wouldn't look us in the eyes and I wondered if he was autistic or something. Hubbie & I left wondering WTH was that?

@Vodkatini : I was thinking of someone was murdered it might've been hard for the responsible party, or whomever, to go back in to tidy things up. Reading your comment, it sounds like that person was there.

@eighteen : This mess was waaaay more than a murder happening there, but it is possible that the guy there did go in and trash the place. Supposedly he was the son of the victim. From what he said, there seems to be some issue with his uncle as to who owns the house. Gave me the creeps!!

@BusyMommy : If I remember correctly, the man who was murdered was black. The homeless couple from the library gift card haul are white. I've seen the homeless woman walking through Pinehurst headed to WLHP as recently as yesterday. She looked pretty clean... I even commented on that to DD. I know they have been previously known to camp in the woods around here.

@Sammee The man murdered was a 65 year-old white male. The accused murderer was a 30 year-old black female. She currently resides in the Harris County Jail.

@FNULNU1954 : My memory stinks. Thanks for clarifying. I just read the other thread and those are the homeless people from the library. I cannot believe they did this. Squatters....smdh.

I had no clue it was the same couple. I remember lots of people on here gave them gift cards and stuff to try to help them out, and they would hang out in the library during the day... The guy told us he had an offer on the house... This could get pretty ugly!!

Wait a minute. So they're homeless and related to the person who was murdered? Yet, other family members of the man murdered are calling them squatters?! I am so confused. This sounds like a complete disaster. Prayers for this family to get all their issues resolved. I really hope none of them are on drugs.

I remember that they said they had family in the area, but couldn't live there or something... At the sale, the guy was just telling everybody anything they wanted to know... All you had to do was ask. But, of course, I didn't believe half of what he said. The person that was murdered was this kid's father. The uncle is the one who is calling them squatters. And the lady who is the accused murderer was supposedly the girlfriend of the victim/kid's father.
