Aggressive Dog

PRECINCT 4 LIVE: PIT BULL ATTACKS LAB WHILE WALKING THE NEIGHBORHOOD WITH ITS OWNER!

Constable Deputies responded to the 5500 block of Upper Lake Drive in reference to an aggressive animal type of call. Upon deputies arriving, investigation revealed that citizen was out on a walk with her lab when a pit bull attacked and bit her lab in the neck.

Constable Deputies are attempting to locate the pit bull owner.

PSA please leash your dogs. Even dogs that are off leash trained should be on a leash when in public spaces. This is for the safety of everyone. An unleashed dog approaching can make dogs and people uncomfortable.

I have a really sweet lab that is skiddish. If another dog was agressive to us, we would be vulnerable.

One of my neighbors was out on a walk with her Shih Tzu, and a pit bull attacked it and some guys roofing a house got down off roof and got it off her dog and the pit ran home, it was where a Sheriff lived, after she got her dog to vet's office she came back and went to speak to him and he said my dog has been in the house, she called the constable and got the guys off the roof to come over and speak with them, guess what nothing ever happened, cost her 2600. 00 at the vet's office.

Infuriating. I would file suit. I'm not big on suing people, but there is a time and place for it.

That's someone using their job for personal reasons!!...He should have been sued for the vet bill
