Back in the early 70's and I was driving truck around the country. I had a delv, in south Fla. everglades . I stopped at a store to use the phone all they had was a crank phone. Couldn't make a long distance phone with it.

Itsme : I remember visiting my grandparents in the 60's. They still had their crank phone hanging on the wall, obviously not in use. Had several conversations with my grandmother about how they even used it.

A man at the store had to show me how to use it . Freak me out left without making my call. It wouldn't make yo Philly anyway
