eighteen : Oh, I completely get it. I have social anxiety too. I always think people are staring at my leg. They usually are though, so I over-compensate with smiling and talking, so they won't look down.

@Catmae : You should tell them a shark took it. 😂

We met a guy that had a skin graft taken from his leg. The kids were staring at it. He turned around and told them a shark bit his leg. The look on their faces, LMAO! I believed him as well, though. He just laughed his *** off.

DH had open heart surgery when he was 8 years old. His scar went all the way from the front to the back ... it was massive. We went to his bosses lake house in Austin one summer, for a company weekend get together. The girls were all huddled together staring and talking about that scar. He was originally from California, so everyone knew he had spent a lot of time at the beaches in Cali. I just blurted out that the scar was from a shark attack ... The look on their faces ... totally worth the lie ... Emoticon
