2 AHS Students Killed In DWI Crash

Went to Bahama Bucks yesterday and Panera Bread today. It's amazing what's these teenagers are doing for their friends.

This incident has opened up some wounds of my youth. I had a close friend who had an accident under similar circumstances and results. Understandably, my friend was never the same, he was never mentally able to move on and a few years after the accident he took his own life. This later influenced me into quit drinking any alcohol.I hope these families can move on with their lives. I hope this kid that survived figures out what is his mission in life and accomplishes it. I hope the community also moves on and gives him the space he needs and stops spreading rumors.

Y'all I know that I can't even begin to feel what these parents are going through. But I just can't shake the saddness and I cry every day . I can't rest until my own is home safely.
Part of it is my own is headed to college and I'm so worried about the what if's. Another thing that haunts me is where this happened. It wasn't on 1960 , or Atascocita rd. It wasn't on the highway or headed to the beach. It was just right here in our neighborhood on a side street.
I know he made a bad decision. And we just have to pray ours learn from it. It's just such a hopeless feeling.

I cry every time I drive by the site. It is so sad & I feel for all the families involved.

My heart breaks and I cry just thinking about it.
This was too close to home and we all probably knew of a family or kid that knew them.
After I cry 😢 I pray for all the families involved and all of their friends. It will be a tough couple of days and school year but I know the admins at AHS will do everything to remember the girls and to help the student body continue to heal.
Mr. Daniels is a great leader of that school.

I feel the same way. Sad and emotional. I knew Salma personally. She spent nights at our house, she was sweet and fun to be around.
I pray for strength today when we go for viewing and tomorrow for funeral. DD has never been to one. I think this is when it will hit her. She's been grieving these days but not in the public eye, she hung out with closest friends, she went to Bahama Bucks and Panera just to make a donation but didn't want to be around other people who were also friends of Salma and Cloe. She's all by herself, doesn't talk as much, I know I should be patient with her but it's so hard to just sit and watch her.
