Atascocita Hit-and-Run Majorly Damaged Light Pole on Apache Woods Way

Harris County Precinct 4 deputies reported that a vehicle struck and knocked down a streetlight pole and found it lodged inside their vehicle in the 16400 block of Apache Woods Way early Saturday, September 26th. The constable's office described the incident as a hit-and-run involving a white GMC truck. Deputies said exposed wires created a traffic hazard while CenterPoint worked to secure the area.

Any person who may later be accused or arrested is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.

lynnsgirl : Yeah.. I'm trying to figure out how this one played out. How'd he hit it with the back of the truck and end up in that position?

I'm thinking the story is misleading and the GMC truck was "involved" because someone else knocked this pole into it while it was parked in the driveway and then they took off. I don't see how else we end up in this position.
