2-Year-Old Dies Following Life Flight Response Near Atascocita Middle SchoolThe Life Flight helicopter seen near Atascocita Middle School on Friday evening was responding to an emergency in the surrounding neighborhood, not an incident reported on the school campus.Harris County Precinct 4 says a 2-year-old child was found in a swimming pool at a home in the 19000 block of Pine Trace Court on September 18th. West Lake Houston Parkway near FM 1960 was temporarily closed so Life Flight could land and transport the child. Officials later confirmed that the child died at the hospital.
