Have y'all ever heard of this? There is a trend around here called Silent Book Club. Attendees bring whatever they are reading and sit quietly reading for an hour. Then, attendees can dine on snacks and have a social hour/discuss what they are reading-or choose another topic of conversation, There are several bars around here who are hosting these. I thought it was kind of silly at first. But I'm kind of warming up to the idea. I have no idea how this idea got started. But wondering if anyone else here has heard of this.
