Humble Traffic Stop Uncovers Multiple Controlled Substances

A routine traffic stop in Humble by the Humble Police Department led to a major narcotics arrest during the early morning hours of June 5, 2026.
At approximately 3:06 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop near FM 1960 and FM 1960 Business for a minor traffic violation. During the encounter, the officer observed suspected illegal narcotics in plain view, establishing probable cause to search the vehicle.
The search resulted in the seizure of a significant quantity of drugs, including approximately 36 grams of methamphetamine, 43 grams of fentanyl, Xanax, morphine, methadone, and other controlled substances.
The driver was taken into custody and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 with Intent to Deliver, in addition to several misdemeanor offenses.
