Lake Houston Has Lowered Its Level
Yes, Lake Houston level has dropped about 2 feet from yesterday! Not sure why. We are expecting rain starting tomorrow evening through about 6am Sunday. Calling for 1-2inches total so not a big deal. Here are a few pix if the bulkhead. You can see the wetness of the previous level. Also a just for fun photo of a Green Heron taking advantage of the low bank for his dinner! Enjoy!

@ginx: Sadly no beer in fridge today as the Sam Adams Cold Snap seasonal variety is no longer available. Oh well! It'll be back next January!

According to a CoH press release, the lake will be lowered 18" for spillway maintenance which should take about a week then allowed to fill back up….
