@susanbanthony: Thanks! This was a very interesting article! Utilizing old tires filled with gravel to become part of the asphalt roadbed is a fantastic Win! all the way around! Only time will tell whether or not this will be effective for extending the longevity of the road. I admire folks who can think outside of the box!
