Ace Hardware Store? Is there an Ace hardware store in Atascocita or anywhere in the Humble area? I know there is one in Kingwood & Porter.

Yeah. There is one on Pinehurst Trail - just south of Atascocita Road.

This is why I asked: Went into the Ace hardware store here in Kingwood. When I entered the store, there were three employees near the entrance talking. Not one asked me if I needed help. They usually do. So I searched on my own. I had many different types of items to buy, so I would be all over the store. Finally, an older guy named Gordon asked me if I need help. I told him what I was looking for. He helped me find the items I needed.
In the past, any employees near the entrance have always asked me if I need some assistance. This was the first time I was basically ignored.
So, thank you Gordon, for stepping up to help me.

The ACE in Kingwood is owned by the same people that run the store in Atascocita. Yeah, there are time when nobody is bothering me, but mostly someone asks if I need help, or I find me someone.

I find the experience at the Atascocita location is much more customer focused than the Kingwood location. Upon entering the Kingwood location I feel like I am interrupting the conversation between the 2 associates if I ask for help. If I don't request help, they generally ignore those entering as I guess they feel that it is the job of the associates "in the back of the store" to help. That is one thing I miss from Alspaugh's at the new Kingwood location. They should visit Wal Mart to see how a greeter properly handles their duty.

*Not all* but I find a lot of customer focused locations in the Kingwood area are lacking in the department of customer interaction.
