Wanderer : Kent served on the MUD 151 board of directors for 45 years. Total volunteer position.
FYI - the MUD is responsible for water and sewer primarily.
Turn the water faucet and clean water comes out. Push the toilet handle and the brown stuff disappears.
If either of these don't happen, Kent's phone would ring.
Our area MUD's have two special features.
1. Natural gas backup. If we lose electricity, we still have water and sewer. Many MUD's don't have this.
2. Inter-connects. Several of the area MUD's have inter- connect valves. If need be, they can borrow water from other MUD's .

Pinehurst : 20315 pinehurst trail. This is just before construction of the new homes begin.
Picked this place due to many residences walk this street and a rest bench was added to the site. The fenced area contain the water well.

I will have to take a look. He was a really nice guy!
