Here we go again with this thing . Where is the money coming from 6 months there was a big deal about the budget and how didn't have the money and had to cut services. Then a week ago they said they were still 10 million short .

Demo !That's what the majority of the citizens voted for in an official election many years ago -- and were (and still are) ignored.If they would have honored the desire of the voters then, millions of $$$ could have been saved !

There was a casino that wanted to buy it and rehab it. But because we don't have gambling in Texas, it was not approved.

So many ideas 💡so little action and commissioners doing nothing

I don't know why Texas does not legalize casinos, every state that borders Texas has it lots of revenue going to other states.

bodyboy : I don't know either. When you go to the casinos in Louisiana 95% of the cars have Texas license plates on them. It's crazy that Texas lets all that money go to Louisiana. People that gamble are going to gamble there. Just because they don't have it here in Texas doesn't mean people aren't going to gamble. It's the silliest thing.
