Of course they would....We live in a society of "everything that happens is somebody's fault"....Somebody can actually break into your home and hurt themselves on your property in the process and sue you for damages....Strange world we live in today....

Catmae : The thought was to avoid hindrances to build and renovate. Sure we'll see more whynwith the lawsuits.

ParksideRes : I know my post was misleading and I shouldn't even have made it. My question was directed at something I read in that article. I can't repeat it, because it would get this thread thrown in the Fastlane, and I don't want to do that to West-Tex. The comment in the article wasn't necessary, in my opinion. Let's just leave it there. It's just something that really bothered me.

The little kids that were housed closest to the river should have been evacuated to higher ground. They could have grabbed their pillow and blanket and stayed with others located in a safer area. Not complicated to accomplish.
