If you have never eaten there, you missed a very good burger. They have torn it down and building a fast food franchise . Shame.

There was a place in North shore back in the late seventies If I remember correctly It was Ronnies, super burger The burger was big enough for eight people but if one person could eat it it was free. It was out in front of the Gerlands, grocery store.

There were 2 other good eateries in that area and I wonder if they're still open. Brother-in-laws BBQ and a deli sandwich cafe on Woodforest, I think it was Chaucers. They had the best chef salad I've ever eaten.
