We've gotten really drenched this morning. It comes on and off. It has slacked up for the moment. Meterologists say that that is good because it allows the streets to kind of catch up and drain between rain bands. We were supposed to go shopping for a new truck, but I didn't want to go out in this mess. We can go next week.

EddyFree : No arguments there! The weeds and the mosquitios are a testament to that!

Regarding mosquitoes, there have been several cases of West Nile in our general area. The mosquito spraying trucks have been passing by every few nights. It seems to be keeping them under control.

RajunCajun : I have been hearing the mosquito planes flying at night too. Thank goodness. Stay safe over there with the rain that is coming.

So my question is mow tonight or wait until Sunday?

I mowed this morning because it would be too tall if I wait for the weekend.
