It sure was not a big basket! I did buy 5 or 6 bottles of their cheap wine that helps me sleep. Dog food was $20 for a not very big bag and they get peas and carrots as a toper and I bought a case of cans each so I guess that is the big cost. Of course, I had to have some muffins. There was only one other customer. The store feels empty but isn't.

I need to get some of that sleeping wine. My DW says sometimes I drink too much regular wine, so she should be happy if I switch.

I got a 50% off dog food coupon from HEB. Also one for treats.

It is better than pills! I think it is under $4. You might need a couple!

ladybeachbum & 1ontheroadagain: look at HEB for cheap wine, they have a few brands that or 3/10$, even sometimes on sale for $3 a bottle, my DH thinks they taste good.

That is about the Aldi price. I just haven't been back to HEB because all their deals are o the app and I just hate they do that. Just give everyone the deal or none.
My dog just poured a pretty good drink over my laptop! She didn't even want to lick the keyboard!

ladybeachbum : yes, you are correct that the cheap price at HEB is about the same from Aldi. I have for a long time purchased wine from Aldi, but have come across 1 or 2 bad bottles, tried to return and they would not let me return or refund for the bad ones. So I am a little aprehensive right now and looked somewhere else.
And I totally agree about all the apps and coupons etc. just give it to everyone and make everyone happy.
