Firewood Delivery

Has anyone used a firewood delivery service in the area they would recommend? I'm looking for a decent amount of seasoned firewood to roast in the fireplace and don't have a truck or trailer (and will not be renting one, either đŸ˜›)

Daaaaaave : On Wilson Rd, between Atascocita Rd and BW8 (heading South), there is a place that always has a ton of firewood sitting out. Maybe they deliver. Emoticon

Daaaaaave : I mean, it's right off of Wilson on the side of the road. I pass by there all the time.

eighteen : There's the rub. I do not pass by there all the time. Like once this entire year. Maybe. đŸ˜†

I texted Sam not long after this and he responded pretty much immediately and delivered in about an hour and a half. I'm sure delivery times vary day to day but that was my experience.

He will stack himself, but I helped him since I was already out in the yard doing stuff. $150 for a half cord (I'm sure this can vary, too) which should get me through the winter.

I did a test run with a few logs and it is well-seasoned. Not over-seasoned like the bundles you'd buy at Kroger (soooooo dry, likely 0% moisture).

He does more than sell firewood - he also runs Precision Tree & Lawn. He's many years local and is a really good dude. Give the man a try!

Here is what 1/2 a cord looks like. It's about an 8x4' stack.
