Father Arrested for DWI with Child in VehicleFATHER ARRESTED FOR DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED WITH HIS FIVE YEAR OLD CHILD IN THE VEHICLE!On January 23, 2024, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the 3900 block of Atascocita Road in reference to a major motor vehicle crash. Upon deputies arriving, the at fault driver was identified as Robert Johnson, who displayed multiple signs of intoxication. Also in the vehicle was his five year old daughter. A series of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered and it was discovered that he was driving while intoxicated. Child Protective Services was contacted and the child was released to a guardian who arrived on scene."Robert Johnson was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated with a Child Passenger. His bond was set at $1,000.00 out of the 482nd District Court." - Constable Mark Herman
