Wanted Felon Arrested for Assaulting Pregnant Victim 
CONSTABLES ARREST SUSPECT WANTED FOR ASSAULTING A PREGNANT VICTIM On August 8, 2023, a deputy with Constable Mark Herman's Office spotted a known wanted felon in the 9300 block of FM 1960 Bypass Road West identified as Ashayla Davis. The deputy made contact with her and detained her after a brief struggle.
The active felony warrant for Assault on a Pregnant Person was confirmed. The deputy was also working a shoplifting theft case in which she was the suspect and she was filed on for Class B Theft. "Ashayla Davis was arrested and booked into the Harris County jail for the felony warrant and charged with Resisting Arrest and Theft. Her bond was set at $200.00 for the misdemeanor charges out of County Court 1. Her bond has not been set for the felony warrant." - Constable Mark Herman
