eighteen : Dang it...was hoping he made it out and was disoriented. Praying for his family for comfort and peace.

Highly tragic. So young to be dead.

But two things that add to this tragedy - 1) no one was wearing a life vest. 2) reportedly, alcohol was involved.

niceguy : Yeah, I don't go out on the water without a PFD. Hitting Lake Houston/San Jac:

1. Have and wear a life jacket.
2. Do not attempt to swim from one shore to the other and back.
