Constables Arrest Suspect for Driving While Intoxicated
On July 17, 2023, a deputy with Constable Mark Herman's Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 7200 block of Fox Cove Trail. The driver was identified as William Atson, who displayed multiple signs of intoxication.
He refused to perform Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and refused to provide a specimen of breath or blood. Constable Deputies acquired a warrant for a blood specimen. "William Atson was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated. His bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 5." - Constable Mark Herman

FYI, first offense is a low level misdemeanor in Texas. It requires a change in the law for the bond to be higher. ( I support).
