It is part of the cedar.. I think of it as the name of the bar inside the cedar. They are brewing their own, I think that is some of the reason for the name also..The place has changed a lot since The Cedar Landing. We like to go and sit outside when it is not too hot and enjoy the view of the lake..

Last time I was there, March ish, they were showing the bld in back of the Cedar they were using to brew, and serve as a bar also. It was under construction but looked to be ready soon.
My buddy was there last week, good news is they are now (lots of previous complaints about the ordering upfront with no waitress) using a more waitress style deal. They are however, also "just" serving beer that they brew, no more Miller Lite/Bud ect (I think he said no more liquor, just the brewed beer). I'm not sure I like that, not a "craft" beer kinda person, like my Miller Lite, but Ill try it.

We have been and they are really good. They have one called shake ya razz, a strawberry blonde beer. It is great. Had a great pilsner too.

That will be what I'll have, I do not go too far out with beer, besides my Miller Lite (I do with my scotches and bourbons, sort of, but I'm pretty much a one beer guy). In NO, there are places that just serve Abita, and I definitely like their light beer, almost as much as my ML, but we'll see Cedars options.
