My neighbor just called me and asked me if he can go check my tool box in my garage for washers. Not sure which scenario is better?? Seriously though I love my street and my neighbors. We all are friends and we all look out for each other and party and stuff. My street has come a long way

@Ld1ncloud2 : I live in a cul-de-sac and we all have known each other since we kinda moved in at the same time... this was new construction. We are all the original owners. For the rest of the street, I've always make it a point to go introduce myself to new neighbors. I bake fresh cookies and bring them a bottle of Rose during the warm months or a vibrant Red during the cooler months. And for the children? Assorted pastries, of course!Nothing brings me more joy than welcoming a new neighbor to their home!

New neighbors on the street always get a plate of brownies from the wife. Usually one " falls off" when I deliver them....

I live in a cul de sac with one other house. They used to be super nice to us but they had a son who was troubled and liked to invent situations that never happened. They don't talk to us anymore so idk if he said something, but I nor my husband had ever even spoken to him since we moved in. 🤷🏼‍♀️

We know everyone on our half of the block and a few others too. We moved in before alot of homes were built so we met them early.

We are the go to, bbq, party house on our street though we have some new competition that moved in recently. They are much younger and louder 🤷🏻‍♀️.We love our neighbors.

We love our neighbors! I mean we call each other for off the wall stuff and we always have it 😂😂 Or when we were quarantined and asked them to pick us something because we couldn't leave the house. They texted us and hung it on our fence 🤣

@Ladyfairlane : Our street used to be a ghost town. About a year ago a young redneck couple moved in across the street from me. They turned their garage into a bar/gameroom and were always out being loud and obnoxious. Man I couldn't stand them!! Fast forward to today.. we are the street everyone comes to and their reneckedness brought all the neighbors together. And after a brief initial misunderstanding, the woman of the house and I have become pretty damn good friends!!

@MrsT : Sounds like your neighbors probably have their hands full. Maybe they cut themselves off from other people because of their situation. Maybe they distance themselves from others because they are worried about what their son might say or do. Sounds like a sad situation.

@Ld1ncloud2 : No, I see them on the block but some of them at Kroger. LOL Some of us have been on the block since it was new construction so we all know each other well. The newbies I have no idea.

I used to be the go to wine house but a few of my old neighbors left. Now its petty much just me and two other and they don't drink wine
