Weathergirl5 : I have ordered from Target 2 times and received my orders about 3 hrs. after order was placed. No bread received on either order. Several substitutions on first order. The shopper texted me with options. Today, I got everything I requested minus bread. Order #1: I didn't get the meat I requested, but it worked out okay - after a successful trip to the meat market. Limited freezer space for now - dropping hints about a chest freezer. 😂 Ordered flour tortillas from Amazon as well as Pita Bread, so we really haven't missed the bread. Used the Pitas to make individual pizzas and they were great - 💗 my Air Fryer!!
They had small bottles at the 99 cent store yesterday. It was on the lowest level to the left in the cooler. I like that, too, because it has a long shelf life. I didn't get any so not sure what the expire date is.
@ladybeachbum : Wow! The 99 Cent Store, I never would have thought to look there, thanks!
We like it because it has 1/2 the sugar content of every other brand of milk out there. It's some special way they filter it...DH has diabetes, so I do what I can to cut sugar and bad carbs out of his diet. It's expensive as heck, but worth it.
@Sammee : They have it pretty often and sometimes the quart of chocolate. I got started on it there and now hate to spend the money retail. I've seen them have the 4 pack for 99, too. It depends on how it comes in.
Those people are not practicing the 6 foot distance rule! I haven't had to wait in line to get into a store yet. Last time I went to HEB, I was able to do curbside, but now there is a 2 week wait for that. I went to Costco last Tuesday, and it was quite pleasant...didn't have to wait to get in, and once I was in, it wasn't crowded, and the line to checkout went quickly. Also went to CVS yesterday to get a few things (dry cat food and kitty litter, body wash, hair dye - you know....essentials) and there were just a few other shoppers there.
We just got back from HEB. There was a long line but only amounted to about a 5 minute wait. The produce looked fantastic, best I've seen since the virus started. They also had their fresh fish and meat back in stock, everything looked back to normal. There was no waiting to check out, lines were open. You may wait a few minutes to get in, but not as long as the normal check out process.
