with the amount of testing, there is little time to actually teach anything. You need Practice tests before hand and then only have time to teach cherry picked items. It's awful.
@ParksideRes : Yet every public school district in the state of Texas falls under the TEA umbrella. Every public school has to meet the same state requirements. Why is Houston ISD doing so poorly? They need the better leadership, IMO.
Also, if it takes so much time to teach, how do they have time for a lawsuit (which was my point to begin with)? Isn't this energy taking away from energy that should be used to teach students?
