Anyone had a good place (like hospital) for after care leaving t
TortieMama : They are taking him to the place in Pearland because DH didn't want to ask to go someplace else. That means not much time to drive there after work all day trying to get caught up and his Yukon has transmission problems I just heard so the guys at work will go get it and I guess I decide where to take it. He has enough on him to do to get well. I would trade it off tomorrow but I know it wouldn't be the one he wants. The bad thing is every time I call they are doing something with him so hard to plan.

TortieMama : I talked to his caretaker and she really was surprised he is going to Pearland. When they don't know, I am a little bit worried but now the challenge is to find out if his vehicle is still parked in front of the emergency room. He never told us until a few minutes ago! It may be anywhere because surely they don't let a car stay there for long. I thought it couldn't get worse but here it is!

ladybeachbum : Pearland??? You can fight for them to send him somewhere else. DH did this for me, and I had to do it for him too.

MooMaw : He is in Empass at Pearland. That will be close to the beach house so maybe okay. I'm trying to get some things here done and clearing larger paths but he will want to go right to the beach house. I am glad I had the chair lift as soon as I knew this was going to happen. Even if he is back to normal that sucker is a great thing to bring up groceries! Thank you for all your kindness.
ladybeachbum : I hope and pray this all works out for you. You also can get assistance at home. We had nurses coming in daily to help with at home care. They will bath and even PT. Ask Empass to get that information before he leaves. And most importantly how are you? Have you taken care of yourself? 🫶

MooMaw : He sounds really good today. I just hung up from him and told him to go back to being in the hospital! He's pushing orders for us that he knows doesn't work. This makes me laugh because he is on the mend. He wants us to go get the Yukon tomorrow morning and I am hoping someone steals it.
