The upper Texas coast and Louisiana have been put under a Tropical Storm watch from Sargent to Morgan City. National models do not have this becoming a TS and it looks like most of the energy will be East of the Houston area. The bullseye for heavy rain looks to be Southcentral LA (Lafayette / Baton Rouge) into Mississippi Houston is not included in the watch but Galveston is. More rain, Yes, Possibly some wind, Yes Anything to worry about, Not really
