If an email or a text says a relative or friend needs money contact them before you send any money there. This happened to my friend in New Orleans. It was an email saying that her cousin needed money and she went to the bank and then thought well let me see where she wants to meet me at. She contacted her cousin and the cousin knew nothing about it. We just have to be so careful nowadays.

I am sorry that happened to her!! I agree there is a special place in Hell for scammers, especially those that scam the most vulnerable.
