RajunCajun: No. Not at all like ALDI. Much bigger with mostly products that are sold at HEB. Brands include HEB, Hill Country Fare, Mi Tienda, etc, in addition to some national brands. ALL at discount prices. For instance at the in-store bakery, Joe V's has fresh bolillo rolls 8 for $1; at HEB and Kroger they are 3/$1!Plus, there are self-checkout lanes as well as many regular lanes (ALDI usually has 1 or 2 checkout lanes and NO self-service ones). Also, Joe V's has regular plastic grocery bags which ALDI does not. LOTS of great reasons to welcome a Joe V's Smart Shop closer to home, if they really are coming to Humble.

EddyFree : I will say, def compare some of the items at Joe Vs vs. HEB because some of the stuff in their ads are actually cheaper at HEB 🤣🤣

Daaaaaave :And if they're cheaper I'll buy those items from HEB....And when Joe V's has a good deal, I'll buy those items from there....The whole point of the "competition" thing I mentioned.....Not sure where you're coming from?....

Our Aldi has self-service. It was newly built so that probably has something to do with it. It is probably double the size of the Atascocita Aldi. But, yeah, no bags.
