It is sad that not 1 "...AHS..." person responding to these comments has anything to say about the Student that wants to die!

No Need now that I had to write this to bring it to their foolish attention! Not 1 of you mentioned it anywhere in your rants! I am proud adults have the heart to say something and care about others!

Realizing that there is a time and place when certain things are not appropriate is not intolerant.

I agreed that degrading comments about women are not appropriate, what seemed innapropriate to you?

@CE3673
Having spent quite some time around these teenagers, I can almost guarantee it was joke. A very poor joke at that, but walking around those hallways, plenty of teenagers on a daily basis joke around about things of that nature. Nonetheless, I agree it shouldn't be a joking matter.

All these students making AHS named accounts to log in and complain can show some compassion to their fellow classmates. Not all comments in this thread were directed to just 1 topic of choice. Talks of suicide is not a joking matter!

Downgrade this all you want. It shows you could care less for others

Oh, I promise we show more compassion than adults who who believe "lgbt" and "therapy" belong in the same sentence. I don't care if I've never said a word to you in my life, if you're having those thoughts, you can always talk to me. I've messaged random friends after questionable posts on facebook. Trust me when I say I have compassion. But at the same time, understand that I went to school with these people and jokes like "I"m just tryna die" in a yearbook are common. Again, in case you didn't read my previous comment thouroughly, I do not agree suicide is a joking matter considering I've lose family and friends to it.

If the yearbook is edited by a responsible adult that would never make the yearbook!

I agree, when my class made senior quotes MANY student had theirs denied. The fact that so many grammatical errors were published tells us no one looked it over.

Let's set the record straight because it seems y'all are uniformed . There yearbooks are made FOR the students BY the students. YOU take a risk when you pre order material not knowing what could be in it. Here's is a newsflash the yearbook represents the STUDENTS if you can't handle the fact that there are gay students and gay clubs and gay activities going on at school HOMESCHOOL your kids . " These quotes represent our community poorly " wow well guess what these are your children that wrote these quotes. And to end it all I would like to say that my groups promhub shirts were NOT approved by admin but guess what they also didn't say anything blatantly inappropriate . If you were offended by them that's a personal problem . While you're sitting at home being uncomfortable because of a shirt we were dancing the night away at prom living life . Being teenagers , focusing on teenager problems.

Exactly. He was told he will get when they make corrections due to senior quotes. I do not want a year book, I paid for filled with blackened out comments. He said there's about 40. Am I happy with what I'm hearing? No. But I'd rather that, than sharpies gone wild in his final yearbook.

But as parents, we expect the school to set guidelines. This is not a free-for-all. This is HS. Most students are under the age of 18, they can't make the decision on what is or is not acceptable in a Yearbook. They are children, not adults.

It would appear that few parents are parenting. If they were, this would have never happened.

And, were are the paid Administrators that should have had to sign off on the final edition? They have failed the students, the parents and the Community.

Thought this was about quotes in the yearbook? I not interested in shirts, unless there is a guilty concious somewhere about them? I will listen....
