@AHSmom2017 Answer this sincerely please. Why do you think it's ok? Why aren't you more concerned about our children and their exposures over all? This book is full of errors and political agendas.
@Sammiejo Whatever your child put, has nothing to do with the school... your child had to come up with that quote on their own or look it up.. so is the school really to blame?
@MOMOFAHS I would say the yearbook staff and the teacher overseeing those students are to blame - sounds like poor taste on someone's part.
Maybe they should all be taught abstinence,no wait, then they would have to know what they are abstaining from.
@OBalls They should be taught how to behave in the workplace. Crap like this is why young adults can't function at work.
@lynnsgirl Okay some of them are bad but, the senior quotes do not define the school. It's a damn senior quote. Just laugh and move on.
@Sammiejo Exactly!!!! When my senior graduated last year it was mandatory for the quotes to be approved and acceptable. On one pic the kid says, I don't eat breakfast but I had to bowls.... (meaning weed) The whole thing is a mess!!
@Franklin4 A student put a disturbing quote under their picture. You would tell me if you saw "I'm just trying to die." you would do nothing to help this child? Even if they were your own child? This is not STIRING a pot!
@Sammiejo I viewed this site for several years before joining. The fact that someone just signed up means nothing. What I do see is an abundance of hate. And it is not really about a yearbook but rather differences in life choices.
If I had ever said anything like that I would have received the absolute worst consequence possible...my mom would have been ashamed of me. I hated doing anything that made my mom feel that way. Do some kids just not care or do they not know any better?
My AHS student was offended by the blatant ignoring of proper spelling, over and over again, in a High School Yearbook!! This is from a school district that is supposed to be top notch in academics.... Embarrassing!! (Her words)
@Joeda9
@bbk Like i said, the yearbook is not for the parents. It's for the students. Did you buy a yearbook for your parents or for you?
