This is what @KRAM posted on another thread that I started but I didn't want it to get lost.

@West-Tex : Thank you. last update was an hour ago. My sons neighbor was forced to leave to higher ground so he cant keep us updated any longer from the ground but sent this photo. My sons house is in the blue circle.

The deer lease we're on now is just north of Uvalde. They were supposed to go out there this weekend but had to reschedule for other reasons.

@MrsT: do you know the ranch name. My son worked with a lot of the ranchers and farmers all around Uvalde. He know is over Kenny county so he drives to bracketville every day and work when the ranches over there. He works for the USDA/USNR

Water is going down. it got within 4" of getting in the house. He did get water in his carport and tool shed. So we will have some repairs to do. Only thing we don't know is if the water backed up the sewer lines enough to come out the shower drain. Fingers crossed it did not.Thank You to all that have been praying for my son and all the other people affected by this flood.

I am tying to get on a lease out there but no luck so far. You would think with your son knowing most of the land owners it would be easy.

Terribly sad to hear this. Perhaps we can do an ADC tips "donation drive" as we've done for other charities in the past.
