Ok.. I.don't have girls so this floors me a little bit. You mean to tell me people.actually pay to get doll ears pierced? Is this doll lifelike? Am I missing something? Pleae some one enlighten me!

Yep. The American Girl store charges about 15.00 for piercing. These dolls are Target's version of American Girl and its very hard to pierce their ears.

Why don't they just piece their ears in the factory?

@brightlights I'm still just floored! When I was a kid I pierced my own dolls ears! And put on their makeup.. and cut their hair! Lol, maybe that's why my mom quit buying me dolls!

These are made of very hard plastic so its very hard to pierce them myself. If someone with the right tool offers to do it for free, I will do it. I am just passing along the info in case anyone cares...it wasnt well advertised.

Dolls are SO cute with their earrings on. The doll stage goes by so quickly in a girls life. I've really enjoyed it with my daughters and I am going to be a little sad when my youngest stops playing with hers.

Will a regular drill with small drill bit not work?

I dont know...I just took my daughter because they were doing it for free. Plus I think they use certain earrings because they stay in better.
