Javaman owner Mark Norelli has died

So sad for Melanie....Mark and Melanie worked so hard to establish Javaman .....used to admire how Mark managed to run in all weather's down Farmingham!

This is so sad. I was talking to Mel last Sunday and she was saying that he was sick and stayed home. He will be missed…

Praying for Mel and all that loved him. He will be missed in our community.

I'm sorry to hear this. I had heard it earlier in the day from one of his former baristas. Last time I talked to Mark he was planning new menu items that would rotate on Friday nights. He will be missed. Prayers for Melanie and his crew.

That's so sad. How old was he? I never met him (I don't think), but did occasionally go to Javaman. It was/is a nice coffee shop. I haven't been to the new location.

This is terrible. 😞 🫶prayers for Melanie and the Javaman family. My husband and I go there all the time and we hope the business survives. Atascocita needs it. 😞 not only is it the best coffee but it will keep mark's legend alive. He will truly be missed. we've search everywhere in Houston area for a better coffee bean but there are no others! Ethiopia blend is gold.

Looks like he was 68.

He was 68. My daughter was their very first barista way back in the day. She called me Friday sobbing. Mark was not only her boss but a huge mentor in her life. He had a passion for mentoring and guiding young people. Mark was a real character and will be so missed in this community.
