Bad gas reported

Blackhorse77 : I once got bad gas at the station on the corner of 1960 and WLHP. It was on the NW corner and I think it was a Valero too. This was about 10 years ago and cost me 1K! Feel your pain friend.

9,999 out of 10,000 instances, this ends up being something wrong with the car or something the owner did inadvertently. The state keeps track of these instances when reported. I would like to see the states response and tests. There should be 100s of cars with issues if the gas is actually bad.Contacting Valero won't do anything. Valero is a licensed brand and the gas at most stations is not the "brand" they are. Most fuels are blends and the only thing that makes it "Shell" or "Chevron" is propriety additives put in after transport.
