Private school? We are looking for 6th grade. Do you have any info on Humble Christian or St Mary's? or maybe a recommendation for another school.

Northeast Christian academy, St.Marthas were my picks. Christian school of Kingwood, Holy Trinity Episcopal also good!

@Fiona, I will second St. Martha's. Great school and church, but I'm biased in that regard, lol. No kiddos there, but I have many friends who do.

I suggest calling any of the schools you may be interested in ASAP, to see if they have any open spots. St Marth's for example, opened their enrollment for this school year back in February.

@Fiona
My little brother went to North East Christian. Last year I was seriously looking to have my youngest start Kindergarten and move my 3rd grader into private schools. Did a lot of research on local options. For price and location I was going towards St. Marthas. It has a waiting list for some classes though I believe. They do have a larger student body vs NE Christian. Call and set up an interview with some you want to check out- they will let you visit and check it all out then decide.

@Tuckersmom North East is not on my short list but St Martha's maybe. Did you visit St Mary's?

@Fiona
I didn't visit St Mary's simply because the location is better for me at St Marthas - My parents live close and can help pick up from school weekly. I called and had all schools basically e mail me all info and tuition rates etc. Then I made appointments to visit the 2 I thought were best options for me.
Also there are quite a few choices in private besides these around the area as in Montessori schools- but a lot of them only go up until 6 th grade. I was looking at finding one that went through HS but not as many options there.

@Tuckersmom okay just making sure that you saw something I missed. St. Mary's is the better location wise for me with the access to 59 for my work commute.
