I wish God would answer my prayers

I do believe things happen for a reason and we should have faith that everything will be the way it's meant to turn out. Prayers aren't always answered immediately or in a fashion where it's obvious at first... But if we have faith and believe that he has our best interest at heart our answered prayers will be visible at some point! I'm sorry you're going through struggles. Stay strong and believe it will be ok. Tomorrow is a new day. He only gives you what he knows you can handle and will become stronger from.

I'm sorry you are going through a difficult time. I also believe that things happen for a reason and that God only wants what is best for us. I also believe that He will make something good come out of something bad. We might not fully understand the lesson or be able to see the good that will come when we are in the middle of difficulty. I've been angry about things that have happened and even given God the silent treatment. What I learned is that that He will take care of you and see you through. We are here to support you too ❤️

@DonnieBrasco I believe in God and the power of prayer; however, personally, I don't know if everything happens for a "reason" because that makes it harder for me to reconcile some of the horrific things that happen in the world. Children murdered, lives lost due to terrorism, etc.I do believe that life is about learning and this moment- the right now- is temporary. I try to live my life by taking the value of the moments/ situations / circumstances, because I know they will change, eventually. The joyous/happy/exciting times I try to enjoy and cherish so that I can reflect back and perhaps, offer hope for someone else. The difficult/painful/stressful times I try to identify what can make me stronger from having experienced it. What can I learn to prevent or mitigate a future occurrence? What advice can I take and offer to someone else to help them?Regardless of what one believes as far as "happens for a reason," I would offer that no one, regardless of faith, has to struggle alone. There are toll free numbers for specific issues and there are resources in the community.A couple of times I have walked into unfamiliar churches and asked to speak to someone. I didn't necessarily believe that anything would magically fix my struggle/ pain, but I needed to hear from a person of faith their take on things. I can tell you that both times I did this, I felt a relief and sense of peace that helped me get through the struggles.Sorry you are going through your struggle, I hope you find some encouragement in getting through it. ❤️

I think God has a master plan for all of us.

I have always believed things happen for a reason. Sometimes we don't get a clear understanding of the reason until somewhere down the road. Then we have that "awe" moment when we realize or understand.

I do not.I think life is a series of random events that the brain interprets into meaning that may or may not be there.

Just keep praying. God answers all prayers. Not always when you want or how you want but when He wants and how He wants.

Remember it is Gods timing not ours!!!! Prayers!

One thing I find helpful is to meditate on some form of "May this situation unfold to the greater good of all involved." You do not need to know what the "right" solution is or push for one thing or another to happen. I offer this one as a non-religious meditation. If you are Christian you might prefer something along the lines of "Thy will be done". I frequently pray directly for the right doors to open and close and for clear discernment. I find things generally start to shift once I commit that if the way is made clear I will follow it regardless of whether it's what I want or understand. This is a powerful thing to pray though, so you have to be truly ready.

quiet moments - worship God
painful moments - trust God
every moment - thank GodIt helps me get through the day.
